Disabled Facilities Grant
To contact Camden Adult Social Care and find out about applying for a Disabled Facilities Grant, or request a discussion about your care and support needs, complete the Camden Adult Social Care Referral Form.
If you are having difficulties completing the referral form, require urgent support, or are concerned about the immediate safety of a vulnerable person, please phone Contact Camden on 020 7974 4444, and when prompted, say ‘Adult Social Care'.
Disabled Facilities Grant and complex adaptations
If you or someone you live with has a disability and require changes to your home, such as widening doors, installing a stairlift or downstairs bathroom or bedroom, a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) may help pay for major or complex adaptations.
The adaptations can help someone access their home with ease, and/or improve comfort, safety and independence.
Disabled facilities grants are means tested and therefore if you are eligible, how much you get depends on your household income and household savings.
