Home Fire Safety Visits
London Fire Brigade offer free, personalised fire safety advice through in-person visits and an online checker.
The video explains who is prioritised and how quickly the London Fire Brigade aim to respond. They prioritise by risk, including:
- smokers
- people living alone
- anyone aged 60 or over
- people receiving care (formal, informal, or both)
- homes with no working smoke alarms
- people who use mobility aids or who are chair or bed-bound
- immediate concern: risk of arson or anti-social behaviour
