Bereavement support payments

The death of a partner is an extremely difficult and life changing experience and can become even harder if you are suddenly having to live on a lower or reduced income.  To help with this change you may be able to apply for Bereavement support payments, but this will depend on your relationship with the person who died and whether you were married or in a civil partnership or living with your partner.
