Independent Age

Independent Age is a charity that supports older people to remain independent and live their lives on their own terms.

We not only campaign for older people's independence but also we provide you and your family with impartial advice and information about issues that affect older people, such as:

• care and support
• money and benefits
• health and
• mobility.

Services that we provide are:

• Information, guides and advice leaflets

• Regular calls and visits - we provide a friendship service to relieve loneliness and isolation. Phone us on our Helpline to find out more about our friendship service

• Volunteering - we have a number of volunteer roles, from regularly visiting or calling older people, to helping to support our new recruits. We'll give you the training necessary and also cover your expenses.
