Male Carers Project at Holborn Community Association
What is a Carer?
A carer is someone of any age who, without payment, provides care and support to a partner, friend, relative or neighbour who could not manage without their help.
If you are a male carer and live in Camden, then Holborn Community Association (HCA) would like to hear from you.
HCA will give you the time to talk about your caring situation and what you need, while also giving you the chance to meet new, like-minded people and enjoy trying something new by way of fun and free social activities.
New Male Carers' Active Lifestyle sessions.
Working with a fitness instructor, male carers will be able to participate in individual fitness programs, weight training, cardio, and conditioning as part of following a healthy lifestyle. These free sessions are a great opportunity for male carers to improve their fitness together and to make new friends.
Sessions are held every Monday from 14:00 to 15:30 and will take place at Millman Street Community Centre, 50 Millman Street, Holborn, WC1N 3EW.
The community centre is located near to Great Ormond Street and Lambs Conduit Street. The nearest Tube stations are Holborn or Russell Square. The nearest bus routes are numbers 17, 46 and 259.
Interested in joining? Whether you would like to learn more or just drop by, we would love to see you!
