How you can support others during Covid-19

Covid-19 continues to impact us all in Camden and Islington.

Many of the legal measures to stay safe during the pandemic have ended.  But Covid-19 is still circulating in our communities.

The pandemic has taken its toll on many residents and created challenges to recovering from Covid.

How you can help

If you are a frontline worker, volunteer, Covid-19 health champion, or simply someone who wants to help others, there is free training on how to have a Good Conversation about Covid-19 or related issues

What the training covers

The Good Conversations - Supporting Covid recovery training course is free and has a strong emphasis on core conversational and communication skills.  It provides excellent foundation-level training. The training course is part of a series of training on Making Every Contact Count (MECC) provided by Camden & Islington Public Health.

By the end of the training course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the range of factors that influence residents’ decisions about key issues
  • Be ready to engage residents about difficulties arising from the pandemic
  • Know and be comfortable with a range of conversational skills to support these discussions
  • Have access to resources for self-help and signposting

How to find out more and register to attend

The Good Conversations - Supporting Covid recovery training course is provided by Camden & Islington Public Health.
