Covid-19 vaccination

The Covid-19 vaccine is safe, effective and gives the best protection against coronavirus and serious illness.

It is free and available to everyone aged 16 and above. You don’t need to be registered with a GP or have an NHS number to be vaccinated and you won’t be asked for proof of ID, address or immigration status.

If you are aged 16 and over you are eligible to get vaccinated now as well as children aged 12 to 15 who have, or live with someone who has specific underlying health conditions that put them at higher risk of getting seriously ill from the virus.

Booster vaccinations for those who are eligible will be contacted by the NHS booking service or directly by their General Practice.  Some will also offered their influenza vaccine at the same appointment.
