Colour contrast

Changing the colour contrast can increase legibility for some users.  To change the colour contrast, click on either of the letter Cs at the top of the screen. 

Text size

To increase the text size, click on the letter A icons at the top right of the screen.

Plain English

The information on Camden Care Choices is written in plain English to make it easier to read for everybody. All of our content is checked for plain English, and we aim to use a written style that is easy to understand.


Deaf people can call Camden Council using SignVideo Web Access, an online sign language interpreting service, from their own home.  The service is available between 9am-5pm Mondays-Fridays.  Click the Signvideo logo at the bottom of the webpage to link to interpreting needs.

Audio speak

If you would prefer to have the information on the page read out to you, you can select the "Speak this page" option and follow instructions to install BrowseAloud, specific software that allows the information to be read out to you.

Language translation

You can use the Google Translate option at the top of the page.  Click "Select language" from the dropdown list and choose your chosen language.
